New Zealand is a world leader for education, according to the UN Development Programme’s 2011 Human Development Report - ahead of Norway, Australia, Ireland and the US. The OECD agrees, describing New Zealand as “one of the strongest OECD countries” for literacy, maths and science. You’ll be working in an education sector that is admired internationally – and in fact attracts upwards of 100,000 students annually from overseas countries.
Teaching professionals iare welcome to teach in schools in New Zealand such as university lecturers, special education teachers, early childhood education and visual arts teachers among others. If your job is on a skill shortage list and you have the qualifications and experience to match, the work visa application process is likely to be faster. You may even be able to apply for a resident visa.
However, if your teaching role is not on a shortage list and you are offered a job, for example in a New Zealand school, you can also apply for a visa.
Tenn - K is equipped to assist teachers in the immigration process for visa and in the filing of permanent residency in New Zealand. We also work in collaboration with Jamaican Employment Agency and New Zealand Immigration Advisers and Partners to assist Teachers in their quest in finding schools that are hiring and who are willing to offer employment to overseas qualified teachers.
Please note that we are not an employment or placement agency and that we only process the application for migration. Once we have completed your New Zealand Qualification Assessment and New Zealand Registration, we will hand over your application to the Jamaican Employment Agency to assist with the marketing of your profile application to Schools in Zealand.
Once there is an offer of employment, we will seek to process visa or permanent residency application.
